Believe!

During this week, we will be reviewing important skills once again in preparation for next week's P.S.S.A. tests. Hopefully, this will make all of us more confident in what we can do.

In Language Arts, we reviewed tips for reading Graphic Features found in text. The features we practiced reading included line graphs, bar graphs, picture graphs, circle graphs, diagrams, tables, timelines, maps, and illustrations. Although none of these features have many words, they say a lot! We learned in our review that it is important to read any words found on a graphic, including the title. Each graphic has a clear way of presenting information that may be hard to say in paragraph form.

In Math, Ms. Scheidler reviewed special directions for using the calculator. We practiced using the many function keys to achieve correct answers.

Homework:
Reading - Complete Lesson 11: Working with Directions in your Buckle Down book. Review your vocabulary sheet a few minutes each night. Read May in The Wednesday Wars and complete your new role for Thursday. NO NEW STORY THIS WEEK!
Math - Math Buckle Down pages 5-11 in thin book. Also, Ch. 11 packet is due tomorrow.
Wellness - Ch. 4, lesson 2 (vocab. and questions) due next Monday.
D.A.R.E. - Pgs. 18, 19, 20, 29 and signed letter due this Wednesday.
Related Arts - Tech. Ed. homework is due Thursday.
