Jump, Jump, and Jump Some More!

An inactive lifestyle is one of the top risk factors for heart disease. Today, many students in our school and on our team set out to fight heart disease by participating in the American Heart Association's Jump-a-thon at N.S.I. The event took place in our gymnasium under the direction of Mr. Pietras for most of the afternoon. We hope you enjoy the video of our team's participation in the fun.

Our morning hours were very productive! We were able to have Reading and Math, along with Foreign Language (204), Art (202), and Phys. Ed.(204). It was also Team Enterprise Chorus day, so we practiced our singing, as well. It was a busy and fun day!

In Reading, we took our test on the Elizabeth Blackwell play, and identified meanings of our vocabulary for the story. We also were tested on our tricky spelling list, which had words ending in -ence and -ance, as well as words ending with -ent and -ant. Hopefully, we kept them all straight for the test.

During Math, we used our measurement skills to find specific measurements for a robot. Afterwards, we built a house! Well, almost.

Homework:
Math: Robo-Specs measurement worksheet and Building Lines Worksheet
Social Studies: Continue to study your regions map of Africa and your new vocabulary!
Language Arts: Read through pg. 92. Complete your role for Thursday.
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

MANY STUDENTS FORGOT TO BRING THEIR T-SHIRT FORMS TO SCHOOL TODAY! PLEASE BRING THEM IN ON MONDAY! ALSO, PROGRESS REPORT SLIPS MUST BE IN BY MONDAY. WE NEED TO KNOW THAT YOU'VE REVIEWED THE INFORMATION WITH YOUR PARENTS.
