Our First Readers' Cafe!

Today in Language Arts, students from Mrs. Rader's and Mrs. McIlvaine's classes met together in the school's cafeteria for our first readers' cafe experience. Mrs. Rader and Mrs. McIlvaine read The True Story of the Three Little Pigs and demonstrated the various roles students will prepare each week for cafe. Each teacher involved the group in the discussion, and students practiced writing questions that a director might ask. Information about the cafe will be further discussed at Open House next Wednesday night. Students will receive their first roles and reading assignment for the first novel next Thursday. Great fun is just around the corner!

Homework:
Language Arts - Review story, vocabulary, and spelling. Quizzes tomorrow. (Don't forget about Spelling City on this blog under links)
Math - Exponents sheet
Science - Continue work on Scientist Research
