Introducing....

We had a busy Wednesday today! In Language Arts, we read our story 'Tony and the Snark' in small sections to practice our skill of sequencing using storyboards. Later, our boards were cut and used to practice putting the story into correct sequence. Since everyone read at their own pace, the events on the boards varied. We practiced with as many boards as we could.

Reading exact locations using latitude and longitude continued today in Social Studies. The students saw a brief video clip from united streaming, which reviewed important vocabulary. Everyone seems to be reading the global grid quite well!

A review of place value took place in Math class. Everyone continued to practice word form, standard form, and expanded form of numbers.

Homework:
Language Arts - Quizzes this Friday on Tony and the Snark vocabulary, comprehension, and spelling list.
Math - Complete "You Need a Big City" sheet
Science - Continue to work on your assigned scientist research
