It's time for our Spring Break! I hope that the weather cooperates so that you can enjoy some sunshine and fun outdoors with your friends and family.
Today in Language Arts, the students demonstrated what they knew about special words that are a part of Wilma Unlimited. As a group, we predicted what these words would have to do with the story. Pairs of students read the story together using a guided reading sheet to check for understanding. The group is making a special effort to think about and build their vocabulary by using the words in conversation.
In Social Studies, the students received their new books. As a group, we will be studying the Asian countries to finish out the year. European trading cards were finished and exchanged! Everyone now has a complete set to refer to for facts and information. They turned out nicely!

Reading - Please study your vocabulary and use your new words! Make sure your reading and role for next Thursday's cafe get completed.
Wellness - Health summary is due the day you return from break.
