The Math classes worked hard on their Chapter 3 test today. Mrs. Haddox could smell the wood burning! She was very impressed on how we apply our knowledge to find the LCM, GCF, and convert decimals to fractions. Tomorrow, we will start adding fractions.
Wow!!! What a collection of balloon cars we have. We are very anxious to race them tomorrow in the gym. Remember to have your worksheets filled out by tomorrow afternoon. There will be three winners so stayed tuned!
Review was the name of the game in Social Studies today. We demonstrated what we have learned about the time period known as the Renaissance in European history. We worked in teams to answer questions. Each winner received a rare reward - a homework pass.
In Writing class, we pretended to be searching for a summer job. We are writing letters this week to a prospective employer to apply for the job. Our main objective will be to stay focused in our paragraph writing....and to be hired, of course (smile).

Language Arts: Finish reading The Westing Game! Complete your last role for this story.
